Alamance County Community Baby Shower

Alamance County Service League is excited to announce the ACSL First Annual Community Baby Shower!

The entire Alamance County Community is invited to attend and contribute baby items to stock the “Baby Closet” of the Alamance County Health Department.

The Health Department Baby Closet serves Health Department and DSS clients who show demonstrable need on a case by case basis. Once their specific needs have been determined, they receive a voucher to pick up those items.

Occasionally, DSS staff will supply clothing from the closet for children being placed into foster care. These children are in immediate need of clothing when initially being placed into foster care as they only have the clothes they are wearing.

The Baby Closet is not open to the general public.

We invite you to bring your baby gifts, unwrapped, to the baby shower on:

Saturday, April 6

between 1pm - 4pm

at Macedonia Lutheran Church

421 Front Street

Burlington, NC

Stop in to drop off your baby gifts and feel free to stay for games and refreshments. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

The closet needs the following items:

Diapers, all sizes

Wipes

Baby clothing, new or gently used

Formula

Baby socks

Baby towels

Baby wash cloths

sleep sacks

3-in-1 wash

Baby shampoo
